Likvidatorene til AKP har i nr. 4/2007 av tidskriftet «Rødt!» viet side 89 til 144 til å argumentere mot Tjen folket. De gjør det ved hjelp av å trykke opp en rekke innlegg som Tron Øgrim skreiv i mars 2007 på den interne debattlista til Rødt.

Serve the People – Communist League was founded in 1998. The founding members were expelled from the Workers’ Communist Party (AKP) and Red Youth (RU). The conflict leading to their expulsion was over the line for communist work in the mass organisation SOS Racism (a front against racism), but the root to the conflict was in reality differences in political-ideological lines.

Vi i Tjen folket blir ofte spurt om hva vi mener om de forskjelligste ting. I teksten under prøver vi å gjøre rede for hva vi mener om noen av de tinga vi ser på som de viktigste for vårt politiske arbeid.

What Tjen Folket wants

Tjen Folket is a group of marxist-leninists. We are based several places around Norway. We are working towards the goal that the working class seizes the power and creates a new order of society, socialism. The final goal is a society free of classes; communism.

We ascertain the fact that the present order of society, capitalism, is a brutal system oppressing the vast majority of Norway as well as the rest of the world. It is based on exploiting people and natural resources, racism and oppression of women. Capitalism is not a sustainable system. It has to go.

A lot of different attempts have been made in order to crush capitalism, some people actually believe one can create a new society by making ideal and beautiful systems on paper.

We, on the contrary, believe that those who really want a radical change, a revolution, must build on a science; marxism. We study and base our work on marxism in order to do better work in the daily struggles against class oppression, racism, destruction of the environment and oppression of women.
